HR Society Meeting Minutes: 02/24/10

Looking for people who are interested in competing in the HR Games.
-The funding for the trip will be presented to the student government on Friday.
-Internship scholarship through SHRM available.

Opportunity to help SWARMA complete mock interviews:
-March 11th from 8-3 or from 8-12

On 17th National conference in Seattle $40.00 to attend.

-Large national HR association
-WSUV part of SWARMA is the local representative for SHRM
-Angie is our contact with SHRM
-There are things that we have to have to maintain our partnership with SHRM
-SWARMA is offering a local mentor for students.

-Enrolled in at least 6 credits/ semester

-Helps with guest speakers

HR Club gets a merit award:
-Club is hoping to get the Superior merit award for the year.

HR club T-Shirts
-Get matching shirts for the HR games or if you want to have an HR shirt of your own.
