Why a Blog?
To be perfectly honest, I didn't plan to create a blog today. I was trying to open a new document in Word 2007 and it asked me if I wanted to create a blog post. And, I thought, why not? Of course, to create a blog post, I had to first create a blog...and, that's how the HR Society @ WSU blog got started today.
My goal for this blog is to enable our HR students to network with each other, learn about upcoming events, and as the title suggests, to help our HR students get where they want to go (i.e., land that wonderful job in HR that they all hope to get).
For the blog to work, though (and this is what has kept me from blogging before), people have to visit the blog. It's like a plant...if you neglect it, it will die. If you pay attention to it, water it, nourish it, it will flourish and give back to you in return. So, let's see what happens...
Here's my Question of the Day:
- What do you see as your biggest challenge to getting the job in HR that you want?
